Colosseum 

 Constructed between AD 72 and AD 80 under the emperors Vespasian and Titus, this elliptical amphitheater is the largest of its kind ever built, capable of seating between 50,000 to 80,000 spectators.Once the stage for gladiatorial contests, public spectacles, and dramatic reenactments, the Colosseum showcases remarkable Roman engineering with its intricate design, including an underground network that housed gladiators and wild animals.
